TOBY M. COHEN
Toby M. Cohen is an associate with the law firm of Inglesino, Webster, Wyciskala & Taylor, LLC. His practice includes real estate and land use. Mr. Cohen maintains an active full-service commercial real estate practice and regularly represents real estate developers, investment funds, and family offices in all aspects of the ownership cycle including fund formation, joint venture agreements, acquisitions and financing, landlord-tenant and operations advisory, up to and including dispositions including tax-deferred exchanges and investment into opportunity zones through qualified opportunity funds.
Mr. Cohen has also represented both applicants and municipal entities in land use and redevelopment proceedings, approvals, and disputes.
Having begun his legal career in litigation, Mr. Cohen continues to represent clients in general and complex commercial litigation throughout New York and New Jersey. Mr. Cohen also brings a litigator’s perspective to transactional work, where he has earned a reputation for his ability to work productively with both clients and opposing counsel to reach agreements in high-stakes situations, as well as for his eye for spotting and remedying potential issues before they become problems.
Toby is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council and the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations.
